Santhigiri Institute of Management (SIM) was established as a dedicated centre for advanced management education under the stewardship of the CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) Fathers of the Carmel Province, Muvattupuzha. Rooted in the educational vision of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the pioneering founder of the CMI Congregation, SIM was founded with the mission of nurturing professionally competent, ethically grounded, and socially responsible business leaders.
As part of Santhigiri College, a well-established institution known for its commitment to quality higher education, SIM began its journey in 2015 to address the growing need for industry-ready management professionals in Kerala and beyond. Over the years, the institute has evolved into a vibrant academic community offering a full-time MBA programme affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. Its development has been marked by the integration of rigorous academics, industry engagement, value-based training, and a learner-centric educational philosophy.
